Cryogenics video about Alcor(world leader in human cryogenic preservation)
I just watched a great video on google about Alcor's system for cryogenically preserving people. It gives lots of details, which is great but some of it is a little scary. Especially the part about some of the aids/staff members not having any medical training and yet they are helping with the procedure?! Yikes. Since Alcor is the world leader to date in this field you can gauge how much the techniques have evolved and likely will get better. I think for myself personally this would have to be a last resort measure if all else failed.What leads me to my next poll question on the side of this blog. Check it out. Your recorded Memory to the new perfect young identical bioprinted-body and...IMMORTALITY... ((But...is that..."it" already would be not "Me"...it would be a "cyborg/clone/avatar/frankenstein"... Are you sure?, because to sleep (lose consciousness) = "it" disappears every night...and wake up = rebirth every morning...if we would have lost the Memory...))
